“Education is a marathon—not a sprint”

This statement means that education
is something that it takes its time in order to be done properly, but if you
just do it with no intentions whatsoever which is referring to sprint; it means
that you’re not taking it seriously and putting enough effort in order to aim
something good which in case its referring to actually being able to run a marathon.
