This statement is conveying how in order to live life in a peaceful manner we have to be honest, not only to other people but also to ourselves. In order for one to be honest with other people the first step is to be honest to yourself because if you’re not honest with yourself you won’t be able to be honest with other people.

A good example would be when it comes to school if you’re not being honest to yourself you’re not relying upon being in a safe ground, however if you manage to “want” to be in a safe ground all you have to do is not lie to yourself anymore because when you do that you’re only harming yourself.

Everything is at your own will if you’re not going to risk it the chances are low because as stated before nobody else will do it for you. Everything we do it’s because we make our own actions, don’t just sit there expecting that somebody will come and just do it for you; you have to be willing in putting some effort into your life if you want to succeed.

Try thinking of the pressure of testing as practice for the work worlds own explosive situations. The best way to curtail pressure and to even eliminate it is to prepare. Applying the motto “Be prepared” holds true first time and every time. Prepare for that test, and you won’t worry about it. This statement is conveying how many occasions we tend to fall for the idea that “everyone is doing it” rather than not doing it because we know it’s not right. Although we tend to do that we shouldn’t do that because it’s just making us act and view ourselves as a bad example. A great example would be doing drugs just because “everyone is doing it” we know it’s wrong however we see many people do it even if they know it’s not right. We’re mature enough to decide for our own good, everyone makes their own choices, but only certain people choose them wisely.

• —like selling products or winning votes—that coukd result in biased or incomplete information.

In many cases we have told to do something but at a certain point we doubt about it and we are not really sure if we should do it or not. But always think positively in order to know you’re choosing the right things.  For example when it comes to a problem it’s always good to tell the truth then to lie about it because it just gets even worse.  Always follow your heart and you will always find the right answer to do.

Know how much weight each assignment or test carries, and carries, and use your time accordingly. Don’t waste time, but be wise and smart. Doing the most important things first is being wise and smart.

Get More Involved

Keep your mind from wondering by taking notes, underlining sections, discussing topics with others or relating your homework to something you’re studying in another class. Learn actively and not passively. Be anxiously engaged in your studies and you will have a great experience. Demonstrating a good attitude toward home assignments, and you will begin to love doing it.

Organize the Information

People process information in different ways. Some people like to draw pictures or charts to digest information, others prefer to read out loud or make detailed outlines. Try to find the methods that work best for you. Ask your teacher for recommendations if you’re having trouble.

This statement conveys how character is better than intellectual, because in life there are many people that are ignorant and they make other people feel less. That’s why it’s better when a person is high in character meaning as being tolerant because it shows a lot from their personality. An example would be working with other people that are always in a bad mood that’s just something that we have to surpass in order to be a CTR person.

Tony Farmer was one of the most highly-recruited high school basketball players in Ohio. But on Tuesday he went to court because he was accused from kidnapping his girlfriend but not only that he had also had committed other crimes that it made his sentence for three years. He was in shock when he found out that he was going to prison for three years. I believe that he shouldn't have done that because he had a future ahead he should of never threaten the reporters and kidnapped his girlfriend. He choose the wrong and now he’s paying for it.

.This statement means that it doesn't matter if you lied before but what it matters is right now. You're the owner of your conscience and you should take care of it because if you don’t you will have a guilty conscience. Life is easy is just that people make it complicated, if you do the right things you will have a better life than living a life full of lies. S small lie can change your whole destination, for example cheating in a test, you may look at it as a small thing to do but once you start doing it as a habit that’s when it becomes worse. We have to be wise with what we say.

Alex Schwazer a walk racer won in the Olympics however he was banned from using drugs. Although Schwazer did drugs he felt relief that they caught him because his conscience felt guilt. I think he shouldn't have done drugs because he literally ruined his career, he should've been honest since the beginning and not be seen like a cheater. I believe that once you cheat you will always be a cheater no matter if you say that you are not, probably you will and it’s bad because you make it a habit. One who is determine to succeed in life will accomplish that and more but also by making wise decisions throughout their life. Do the right things and be honest to yourself.

This statement conveys how we never have to fear anything when we know we are doing the right things at the right time. Many times we fear about little things but its okay to be scared but sometimes we take it too seriously and that’s when we don't have to fear of what we are capable of. For example in school when we have a test we shouldn't fear about passing ot or not, because if you studied and you decide to pass you will overcome it and eventually get a good grade. We know when we are doing the right things and when we are not. You'll have a clean and pure conscience when you do the right things without fearing of what might be the consequences.

Summary/ Reflection:

A young girl was locked up in a bathroom for six years; the grandparents would only let her go out to school and from there to the bathroom. She slept with no pillow and just a blanket. This is so wrong I don’t understand why people do this and I find it more wrong because there were the grandparents they are supposed to take care of her not make her life miserable like they did for the past 6 years. I am glad they found out and took the grandparents to prison for 10 years but I still think they should of have given them more year’s because they don’t have a heart for what they did. People should stop and smell the roses because sometimes we don’t realize what’s around us, we don’t realize that we are wasting time in something else rather than we could be helping other people that need our help.
