Student Success Statement

Student Success Statement

Gold medals don't make champions…hard work does.”
ANON

This statement means that it doesn’t matter if you’ve won something because what really matters is all the hard work you put into it. I agree with this quote because it speaks the truth, for example in school someone can be earning straight A’s while another person might be getting a B or so, but what really matters is all the things you have learned at the end.

Selecting Your Courses

Selecting Your Courses

Recommended Classes for College Success

Part 1

The academic rigor of your high school courses is an important factor in the college admission process. College admission offices see your high school course schedule as a blueprint of your education. They’re looking for a solid foundation of learning that you can’t build on in college.

To create that information, take at least five solid academic classes every semester. Start with the basics and then move on to advanced courses. Challenging yourself is part of what makes school fun; but you need a firm grasp of the fundamentals before going on to more advanced work.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!

“Success is dependent on effort”
-Sophocles, Greek Dramatist

This statement portrays how everything depends upon “how much” effort you want to put in.  In many cases we take life as a joke, we believe that if we don’t do it right it won’t harm us on the future; but it’s wrong because all our actions determine our future. It all depends on how much you try to make things right. For example if you want to go to college you have to try your best in order to succeed, you have to do all the work and commit to staying late to study. But in the other hand if you don’t put enough effort you won’t be able to succeed in life. In life everything depends on how much you want to put in. You determine your future, always choose the right and try your best.
