“When I was teaching basketball, I urged my players to try their hardest to improve on that very day, to make that practice a masterpiece. This rule is even more important in life than basketball. You have to apply yourself each day to become a little better each and every day over a period of time; you will become a lot better. Only then will you be able to approach being the best you can be. It begins by trying to make each day count and knowing you can never make up for a lost day.”

I agree with this statement because you have to put your best once you join a sport. It all depends on you if you want to put enough effort to improve yourself and manage to do your best.  Sometimes it’s hard to keep up going every day and we make excuses where we managed to not go, I believe that once you join something is because you liked it, that’s why you’ll be trying to do your best and you’ll get better each day by being there and participating. Hang out with people that will motivate you to do your best, choose the right.

This statement portrays the three don’ts you shouldn’t do in order to have a successful life. At times it may be hard to stop something you’ve already started, but I believe that once you start something sooner or later you’re going to do it again, as long as you’re very committed to do something. I believe in people that believe in themselves, the people that surpass their struggles.  It’s always to never something bad because you’ll fall into doing it again. Don’t complain that something is going bad instead do something about it instead of just whining and making up nonsense excuses.

This statement by John Wooden conveys how never lying, never stealing and never cheating can make your life much better. These three “never” makes you choose the right at all times. Once one start to cheat or to lie or steal something it becomes a habit and one see it as an easy way than to actually be honest to yourself. One example would be cheating during an exam, it’s always better when you study and you’re ready to portray the thing you’ve learned than cheating and getting a grade foe something you didn’t do. Stay true yourself and never do something that will embarrassed you later on, choose the right at all times and you’ll see the difference it makes. You know the way of your path, make it right.
