Summary

The article/story we discuss in class today it was about a ship and it’s Captain Francesco Schettino. He violated a sacred maritime tradition which means that a captain should be the last to leave the ship. His action caused him to house arrest and was accused of violating the law. The consequences of his actions caused many innocent lives that boarded the ship. Unfortunately, only some people escaped the tragic moment.
