Every time you accomplish something you will always feel good about yourself because you know you did the right thing. You will go far if you always decide to choose the right. It might sometimes not be easy to choose the right but trust it will be good if you choose the right. it might always be easy to choose the wrong because you think that it’s easier for you for example if you decide to cheat on a test because you want to pass that class of course it might seem easy for you but at the end it will be worst for you because you weren’t honest with your teacher and it will affect you later on in life because you have started on getting the habit of choosing the wrong and you will keep doing it until it becomes even worst. It’s better to always choose the right and feel proud of yourself than choosing the wrong and feeling guilty. Going to college is choosing the right it will be hard but with time and patience and studying every day it will be worth it. Make your dreams come true by always choosing the right things. When you start doing bad things you are affecting and causing a bad future for you. Your life is in your hands you have the power of choosing what’s right for you. Live life to the fullest but remember you have to live it wisely by always choosing the right. Be a highly successful student and be proud of yourself and start doing good things.

Laura B.’s Academic Success story

In high school I was one of the good students who didn’t really have to study to be a good student. The information that I took for notes in class usually sunk is enough for me to be able to get by on the tests by simply reviewing the material just before the class began. It wasn’t that I didn’t try, I had a 4.0 all throughout high school, never really had to put forth much of an effort to get the results that I wanted to see. In college however, that changed. Not only did I start studying and reading the book. But I began to understand that the little tiny facts were just as important as the general concepts. My overall study method: I do the reading that is required for the classes, and I try to keep up.  If I do fall behind, I usually use the reading that I did not get to as an additional study aid. I take good notes in class and actually attend every class that I can. Sometimes, with volleyball, it’s tough because we are on the road a lot, but if I do miss class because of volleyball I make sure that I get the notes from another student in the class. Also, for a subject such as chemistry, I do practice problems to help me understand what the material means.
